The PROGYS 200A PFC is a versatile Inverter stick welding (MMA) and TIG machine, controlled by micro-processor with touchpad and digital screen. It is designed for professional use.
Stick welding – MMA (200 A):With its high duty cycle the PROGYS 200A PFC is suitable for intensive use with any type of electrode from Ø 1.6 to 5 mm : rutile, basic,
steel, stainless steel and cast iron. Designed with Anti-Sticking, Hot start and adjustable Arc Force technology the machine is easy to use
and to achieve excellent welding results.
TIG LIFT (200 A): Strike without polluting the tungsten electrode. Automatic downslope
with adjustable time for a better welding finish.
Power Factor Correction Technology: PFC regulates and effectively use the supply current which enables the unit
to operate on a single phase 16A 230V outlet, even intensive use, whereas 32A-230V may be required for the same output without PFC. This machine
is capable of being used with long extension leads (up to 100m depending on cable size).
Duty Cycle: Capable of welding 45 Ø3.2 mm electrodes in 1h.
100% duty cycle up to 120 A (at 20°).
Handy: Lightweight (~6 kg) and compact.

Equipped with the latest electronic technology and a robust design, the PROGYS 200E FV CEL provides professional welds on steel, cast iron and stainless steel up to 10 mm thick. It is also equipped with the TIG lift (DC) welding process for welds with the finest finish on thin sheet metal from 1 to 5 mm.• Digital interface for easy-to-read settings
• Adjustable welding current from 10 to 200 A (in TIG DC and MMA)
• Welds all types of electrodes from Ø 1.6 to 5 mm (rutile, basic, cellulosic, aluminium, etc.)
• Includes welding aids:
– Adjustable Hot Start: facilitates priming and can be adjusted according to metal type
– Anti Sticking: reduces the risk of electrode sticking in the event of contact with the workpiece
– Adjustable Arc Force: regulates arc length variations and ensures better penetration
• Automatic arc fade in TIG Lift (Downslope) mode
• Single-phase power supply from 85 to 265 V (FV) – 16 A
• Protected against overvoltage up to 400 V (PROTEC 400)
• Incorporates PFC technology for reduced energy consumption and use with a generator or site extension lead
