We are pleased to offer pipe welding skills in ONE of the following three processes: MMA (Stick), MIG, and TIG.
Aim of the Course
This course is designed to help candidates develop advanced welding skills and knowledge to work in complex positions. It prepares learners for Level 3 qualifications and BS EN 287 Welder approval testing, following industry standards based on ISO 5817 – Arc welded joints in steel.
Requirements to Enrol
The Level 3 Awards in Advanced Welding Skills are ideal for those with significant welding experience who want to refine their skills for intricate welding work and quality control.
To enrol, you must have:
✔ Level 1,2,3 City&Guilds in plate welding in your chosen Process
✔ Industry Experience and a take a weld test before enrollment

How is it Taught?
This is a hands-on, workshop-based course with practical training in pipe welding techniques. Alongside practical sessions, learners will gain essential welding knowledge, including Health & Safety requirements.
You will also be expected to complete a small amount of research using provided study materials to answer assessment questions at the end of the course.
Course Schedule: Enroll in one of the available classes
📅 Mondays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Up to 5 weeks – Level 3)
📅 Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Up to 5 weeks – Level 3)
📅 Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Up to 5 weeks – Level 3)
Note: In addition to classroom sessions, learners are required to complete portfolio work at home with provided resources to prepare for the final assessment.
